The Honey You Buy Isn't Honey
Most jars are blended, heated,ย and filtered until nothing's left.

From Hive To Jar
A four-step journey.ย Nothing in between.
Most honey passes through eight or more processing stages โ including heat treatment that destroys natural enzymes. Ours doesn't.
Hand-collected at altitude
Beekeepers harvest only mature, capped honey from wild apiaries scattered across the foothills. No migration. No artificial feeding. No commercial pressure.
Cold-spun, never heated
Honey is gently spun from the comb at ambient temperature โ well below the 40ยฐC threshold that begins to break down natural enzymes and aromatic compounds.
5-micron, gravity-fed
A gentle 5-micron filter removes wax and debris while preserving pollen, enzymes, and the natural character. No pressure filtration, no heating, no chemical processing.
Lab tested, batch traced
Every batch is independently tested for purity, adulterants, and origin authenticity before it ever reaches a jar. Each lot is fully traceable to its harvest.
WHY PEOPLE SWITCH
Real honey isn't a sweetener.ย It's a daily ritual.
NATURALLY RICH
Antioxidantย density
Naturally occurring flavonoids and phenolic compounds โ traditionally valued for everyday balance.
STEADY ENERGY
Without theย crash
Naturally occurring sugars provide smooth, steady energy without the spikes of refined sweeteners.
TRADITION
Gentle onย the gut
Honey has long been valued for naturally occurring prebiotic compounds as part of a balanced diet.
PURE FLAVOUR
Depth, notย sugar
Slow-poured and unblended, with caramel-rich complexity that varies subtly between harvests.
Common Questions
Everything you'dย ask first.
Is Himapure raw honey?
Himapure is pure honey, third-party tested and filtered through 5 micron filters. It maintains quality, consistency, and safety while preserving its natural flavour and benefits.
Why does Himapure taste different from supermarket honey?
Many supermarket honeys are blended from multiple sources and processed heavily for uniform sweetness. Himapure is single-origin and minimally altered, which results in a richer, smoother, less sharp taste.
Where does it come from?
Harvested by a small cooperative of beekeepers in the foothills of the Himalayas at approximately 2,400m elevation. We work directly with them, no middlemen.
How is it filtered?
A gentle 5-micron filter that removes wax and debris while keeping pollen, enzymes, and aromatic compounds intact. No high-pressure or heated filtration.
Why more expensive than supermarket honey?
Single-origin, cold-extracted, lab-tested honey is genuinely costly to produce โ and we pay our beekeepers fairly. Most supermarket honey is heavily processed or blended with cheaper sources.
How long does a 1kg jar last?
A 1kg jar lasts roughly 2โ3 weeks for one person using it daily, and 1โ2 weeks for a family of 3โ4. That's why most of our customers subscribe or order 2โ3 jars at a time โ it works out cheaper per gram and you're never stuck without it. Honey doesn't spoil (it's one of the only foods that doesn't), but Himapure tastes brightest within 2 years of harvest. Store sealed at room temperature. If it crystallises, that's a sign it's real, unprocessed honey.
